Gender benefits the church.
Well, the men of the church, anyways.
Think about it.
If gender is deemed unchangeable, and a sin to change,
Then people have no choice but to live the gendered-boxed standards the church has set in place for them…
Gendered boxes which benefit,
You guessed it;
The men.
Therefore, the church holds tightly to it’s gendered-standards
Despite all evidence in nature
The nature that God allegedly created Himself
That being transgender is actually
NOT

We feel as though people forget the teachings the church themselves have taught;
That God created all creatures “great and small.”
Every single creature

And yet, people will say that being transgender is against God’s wishes…
A loved one I know once told me that sure, being transgender is evident in nature,
BUT
Humans are of a “higher intelligence,” and therefore “know better” than to “act” on such things.
Sure, people can drive cars, pay bills…make bombs.
But do we really think that makes us a “higher intelligence” than animals? Than nature?

I mean, humans are the ones who hate anyone who lives differently than them;
They hate what they can’t understand.
And what are some things humans can’t understand or wrap their heads around?
The things of God.
And transgenderism;
Was CREATED by God.
Despite what the CHURCH says about being transgender, and that gender is an “essential characteristic,”
It seems that based on the scriptures, God is actually NOT opposed to trsnsgenderism at ALL.
I mean, isn’t He the one who created these animals??
The ones He saw as “Good?”
HE created the animals and how they exist and live, no?
It was HE who created animals who have transgender traits and qualities;

The belief that animals and plants and the earth being created specifically for MAN, for OUR specific type of species
Is pretty narcissistic, don’t you think?
It feeds into the rhetoric that humans are above the earth, the animals, the plants…
And what happens?
Humans destroy the earth, the animals, the plants.
We forget that we too, are a part of the same living organism of the earth that the plants and animals are as well.
We are not “higher” or of a “better intelligence” than the animals, plants and earth around us and on which we live.
This mindset is dangerous to our planet earth.
We are all born on the same earth, and we will all die and return into the dirt of the same earth.
While humans may spin rhetoric that they dominate the earth; at the end of the day, none of us can escape death, and we all return to the dust.
We are not better or of a higher intelligence than any of the living organisms around us.
The existence of a buzzing bee is critical to planet earth’s existence and nature economy and health.

Are humans really sent to earth to be tested? Tried? Evaluated?
According to the LDS religion; yes.
To them, life is one GIANT test;
Where humans are constantly being watched and evaluated based on how they act, what choices they make, if they accept or reject God, etc.
And some people actually LIKE living that way; thinking that their life is a big test and therefore gives them purpose.
To us; it sounds like an awful way to live.
So much stress and pressure to live a certain way, do the correct right things, and MAYBE make it to a peaceful afterlife.

Not one soul knows exactly what happens after death. NOT ONE.
And anyone who claims otherwise is a fool.
We have our guesses. The church certainly has some incredible stories for what they believe the purpose of human existence is, for sure.
However, we are more under the belief that

We merely exist.

To live.
But existence drives humans mad,
Because they’re scared of death.
So we come up with stories, theologies, coping mechanisms, promises of a good and positive eternity after death
To cope with the unknown of inevitable death.
It’s why people place boxes on how to live “right” or “wrong”
Why religions discriminate against things they do not understand;

So why do we keep pretending like God didn’t create transgenderism?
It is merely another way in which species live, survive and reproduce in this world.
Why are we criminalizing it?
Humans demonize things they don’t understand.
It’s time we just accept that things are the way they are just because that’s how they are.
Accept that there’s not an answer for every single question in life regarding existence.
Love is love, people are people, animals are animals, nature is nature
And we are all ONE;
All connected.
All from one universal body of existence in various forms, shapes and sizes.
HUMANS are the ones who try to box things up and categorize things to make sense of the universal makeup of existence.
And it does nothing but promote hate and prejudice.
Death is an inevitable part of life just the same way birth is.
And if humans will just accept the inevitability of death,
Believe that their body and soul will know what to do when that time comes just as your body knows what to do when you are born, or get injured;
Maybe humans would stop placing people into boxes to explain away what’s right and wrong;
Will stop placing others in a lesser state,
to make themselves feel more comfortable about their own hope for a future after their inevitable death.

The truth of us all being ONE is right there in church teachings;
But sadly it is mingled with the discriminatory teachings of man, as well;
Teachings that see others as an illness or a disease to our one body.
But that is not true.

To claim that maybe the evidence in nature is a “test” from God’s creations to see if humans succumb to “being transgender”

Isn’t it in Religous theology that SATAN is the one who tests people?
That HE is the one who tried to “lead them astray?”
HE is the one who puts us through trials and pain to lead us “away from God?”
And yet;
HE didn’t create the animals, or nature, or humans.
God did.

Are a trial to humankind?

The evidence of transgenderism is not only evident in animals, however.
It’s actually also evident in HUMANS, too.
I mean; we see it EVERY. DAY.
The evidence is RIGHT in front of us!!
It’s natural, normal, and human.
It’s religion and society that demonizes it

If you’re saying,
“But that’s not how God meant for us to be! Being human means that mortal trials will just naturally exist, like being transgender or gay!”
“Gender is important because it brings spirit children to earth to fulfill God’s plan! Messing with gender violates that!”
“The bible/Book of Mormon states…XYZ. The prophets have said…XYZ. And they recieve revelation from God!”
“I don’t understand this part of the gospel, I’m sure it’s hard for those who are transgender and lgbtq+! It doesn’t make sense to me; But we just have to have that faith and trust in God!”
Then I just have a couple things to say.
1.) Your religion is one belief system of thousands. Believing your religion or spirituality is the only true church or way of life is close-minded and discriminatory.
2.) Science and facts versus blind faith are completely different things. Science and facts are based on evidence; faith is blind trust in the unknown. Why do you prefer to base all of your knowledge on blind trust in the unknown, rather than what is RIGHT here in front of you? And yet, humans are of a “higher intelligence?”
3.) Believing people have to live a certain way in a certain box is small-minded, cruel, and transphobic.
If you don’t “agree” with people who cross-dress, people who don’t adhere to societal or religious gender norms, or people who change their genders; you are
Transphobic.
No matter how much you try to tell yourself that you’re not.
