Reason 45 – “I don’t believe that.”

You might not believe in certain religious teachings or doctrines.

But unfortunately, even if you don’t believe in something…

The church you so adamantly participate in and follow?

It Does.

“I don’t believe that families will be separated if we choose to live different lives with different spiritualities.”

Well…

Your church DOES…

Do you get the point of what we are trying to say, here??

A lot of active Mormon members we talk to today will tell us, “well, I don’t believe that” in regards to certain church teachings…

Which is ironic, because…

https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/october-2019-general-conference-temple-recommend

Long story short,

People need to stop being scared of leaving an organized religion they’ve been in their entire life merely because it’s what they’re comfortable with, and know.

Growth does not happen within the bounds of comfort.

Talking with many active members today,

they don’t even believe half of what the church teaches!

But that’s the beautiful thing…

It is never too late to change our minds and find a spirituality practice that does coincide with our beliefs.

–

Imagine shaming someone for leaving the church –

Because they don’t believe in aligning themselves with organized religions that preach things that oppose their own morals and beliefs.
